The rules for using Cloud Pricing Calculators: what it is, what the estimates are worth, and what we each agree to. Short, and in plain words.
What this is
Cloud Pricing Calculators helps you describe a workload in plain language and get back itemized Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud price estimates from the engines of Azure Price Calculator (azure-price-calculator.com), AWS Price Calculator (aws-pricing-calculator.com), GCP Price Calculator (gcp-pricing-calculator.com), which you can compare, save, share by link and export on one canvas. It is free and needs no account.
There are daily limits on pricing, imports and share links, published on the agent page. If you reach one, wait for it to reset at 00:00 UTC — see Payments and sponsored placements below.
The estimates are informational
This site is for research and planning. The quotes and the AI-assisted recommendations behind them help you explore pricing options; they are not professional advice and they are not binding quotes.
Prices come from each cloud provider's published sources through the engines, but they change without notice, and an AI-generated recommendation can be wrong about sizing, about which service fits, or about what something costs. "Mirror on" asks another engine to choose its own services for a similar workload; the result is that engine's choice, not a like-for-like guarantee. Validate anything you are going to act on with the provider or an authorized partner before you buy. You are responsible for the decisions you make with what you find here.
Accounts
An account is for one person. Keep your sign-in to yourself (for an email account, keep your password to yourself), and tell us if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
We may suspend or close an account being used to abuse the service or the people using it. If we close yours for any other reason, we will tell you why.
Fair use
Please do not:
- scrape or bulk-harvest the site — AI links and a documented API with its own published limits are on the AI links page and the agent page, and we would rather you used them;
- work around the daily limits by rotating addresses, accounts or keys;
- put personal data, customer names, or anything confidential into a quote, especially one you are going to share;
- use the site to break the law, or to attack the site, the three engines, or the people using them.
Share links and agent access
Creating a share link publishes what it contains: anyone with the link can open it without signing in (or, for a link limited to one email address, that person can). You are choosing to publish it, so make sure it holds nothing you would not want read.
Pricing a quote sends its description to the engine for that cloud, which creates its own 30-day share link for it on its site. The engines run under their own terms and privacy statements, linked from each calculator's site.
The API and the agent keys issued on request are offered on the same terms as the rest of the site, within the published daily allowances. They are free and best-effort: we do not guarantee they will be available, or that the limits will stay where they are, and we may revoke a key that is misused.
Payments and sponsored placements
There is no paid plan on this site and nothing to pay for: the daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC, and we never ask for card details.
Some pages show a placement labelled Sponsored. It is not an endorsement and not advice about your quote. Anything you arrange with a sponsor is between you and them, under their terms.
Trademarks, liability, and governing law
Microsoft, Azure, Amazon Web Services, AWS, Google Cloud and their product names and logos belong to their owners. We use those names to say what is being priced, nothing more; nothing here implies any affiliation or endorsement.
The site is provided as it is, without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it — including from an incorrect estimate, a recommendation that turned out to be wrong for you, or a business decision made on the strength of either. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot legally be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, and its courts are where any dispute about them belongs.
Changes, and getting in touch
If these terms change, the effective date at the top moves. Carrying on using the site after that means the new terms apply.
